Foolish Part

“Oh wait a while” I mumbled
as I wrapped my fingers ‘round her wrist
“well if you don’t like me then talk to him
but please don’t leave like this”
“c’mon now girl, to my face
you told me so yourself
that you’ve only heart for players
who can play your foolish heart”

She unhooked her wrist
And laughed into the hall
“This is no way to woo a girl
Or to set her for a fall”
But I knew better then
As I’m certain I do now
She has only heart for players
Who can play her foolish heart

What would I do without your mind to view?
